Go back to Downloads folder and double-click the file to install the driver Tick box “Run this program in Compatibility mode for:” Right click the downloaded file and select “properties” When downloaded go to “Downloads” Folder on your computer looking on canon website they dont seem to have the driver or utility for win10 yet.

Under “Your Operating System” Select Windows 7 (64-bit) Recently upgraded my Win7 64bit PC to Win10, just tried downloading images from my 5Dm3 after connection Eos utility stays greyed out(no camera detected), though the PC has picked up the camera and i am able to download images directly from the cards. Hope this helps if anyone else has similar issues. It worked for me, now my CanonScan will talk to me Windows 10 PC running the Canon Solution Menu software.
